Diamonds are the most overvalued, non-beneficial item to possess. You know, those nice to look at, shiny yet expensive rocks, Diamonds are expensive simply because of the amount of natural samples that exist on earth and the work completed to acquire them. One may compare finding love to finding diamonds. It is hard to complete either task. I am not one to value jewelry or in this case, rocks. I do value friendship and love, however. In a world of just over seven billion, it is difficult finding someone who sticks out. In a world made of rocks, only some are valued. You have to dig and search through the dirt/crowds to find what you are looking for. When you seem to have found it, spend some time with it. Brush it off. Give it a good rinse. Decide if this is what you are really looking for or not. Most of the time we move on to continue searching but there will be that moment that you realize you have stumbled upon something/someone amazing. You’ll know you have found it. Your person. Your diamond. Your rock. I can’t wait to find my rock.
